As the noise outside increases, I am finding it easier to drop into a soft place inside. It feels as if I am muffled by the snow which is gently falling outside my window. Each snowflake adds to the cushion of gentleness that I am able to rest in. The jagged edges of the landscape are smoothed over, the movement and activity of spring and summer growth, settle. All is quiet. Resting. Waiting. A sublime beauty emerges.
My heart is my flame, my furnace that keeps me alive. In my dreamscape the other night, I heard,
“It is time to hold to the center, to be the calm in the storm. You came for this. You know this. You are this.”
We are asked to hold increasing paradoxes as the line between truth and lies blurs. What or whom can we trust? Where do we stand? What is mine to do?
I know Love. I know its power, its range which is far beyond what we have been told. We are lighthouses of love, if we choose. Always there is choice. We are free to craft our response to all that is happening on this earth. The internet and media have taken us from news, passed from neighbor to neighbor, concerning events in a small community, to bombarding folks with events covering the whole world. It is relentless and pointed to elicit a specific response. Fear being first and foremost as well as a sense of helplessness.
I do not choose to follow this path. I choose to be the stillness in the storm raging outside. I choose to fan the flames of love in my heart and become that flame. It takes awareness. It takes practice. Am I able to observe it all, even the most horrific of events, and hold it all in love?
Am I able to master my inner weather system and live in the peace that prevails? I see sparkles of light amongst the darkness. I choose to amplify that. Not ignoring the darkness rather seeing it and feeling it and choosing my response to it. Knowing that love can envelop it all. Love can transform everything in this reality. This is the alchemy, this is the path. Our thoughts, our heartbeats, can and do change the world. As more align to the world that they want for themselves and the generations to come, the changes slowly appear. What we focus on is what we create. It takes practice to keep turning our dial to the love station. It takes commitment and presence.
Thank goodness, more and more are finding the joy in this frequency. More and more are tuning in. Monks are walking for peace across this land. A quiet revolution is taking place. It begins in my heart and in yours. What frequency will you tune your heart dial to?
