Shifting Between the Old and the New

This image of a gorgeous clematis climbing up a rustic stick trellis, felt like an outpicturing of my internal state. The structure that I have become used to growing upon, is disintegrating. There are weeds and grasses about, confusing me as where I am to reach and anchor. I am continuing to blossom, to shine my beauty. Yet it is obscured by the jumble of distractions seeking attention. My focus is upward towards the light but I will have to learn new ways to support myself as the old trellis, the old structures that we depended upon, fall apart. There is no outer form to anchor me, no place that will hold the weight of my new being.

We are in the midst of the summer eclipse season. There is so much love light pouring into the planet at this time. It is dismantling so many structures based on power over others that were designed to curtail freedom and sovereignty. The waves of light inform us that this is a sea change of epic proportion.

It is difficult to keep our feet on the ground as we flow between the old and the new. The ground beneath our feet is trembling and shifting as our dear earth finds her way into balance and renewal. We find its reflection in our bodies as old traumas held from this lifetime and ones prior, come up to be felt and released. This is the work at present, to feel all, that in prior times, we could not feel due to survival concerns. Now, all must be felt, all must be brought back to love. Our cells desire to release these trapped emotions so as to have room for the love light that seeks a home. We do not have to understand the story behind the emotion, only to witness it as it rises and with our intention, release it to the light. A stabbing pain in the neck, could flash an image of a hatchet blow received, or no image at all. It matters not. What matters is to let it flow through us and out.

We are being asked to look at all of our attachments to people and places to ensure that they resonate with our truth. Self care has moved to the top of the list as we breathe in these energies. Where have we abandoned  ourselves, where have we not seen ourselves, where have we over given and where have we played small?

As more of our own Source light flows in, it pushes the muck to the surface. Our very idea of who we thought we were is shifting. I recently had a haircut. I went from having long hair to collarbone length hair. The first couple of days after the haircut, I got a shock when I caught sight of myself in the mirror. Who is this person? There was some identity that my long hair was part of that suddenly disappeared. As the shock wore off, it felt freeing to let it go. To remember that the outward appearance is not who I am.

We are beings of tremendous light. Such a small portion of our soul embodies here. It is wonderful , if not entirely comfortable, to feel more of myself flowing in. This past week, there have been moments when I am lying  down, where I can feel a steady stream of light flowing into my crown chakra. It is like being under a cascading waterfall. Sometimes it dances, other times, pours. My body is being reconfigured and renewed. I trust this though am not through the process as yet. My body is still finding her sea legs in this shifting landscape. Can I balance, moment to moment? Am I able to stay present, to view life from this now rather than the past or a projection of the future?

As I feel myself as an ever blossoming flower, I let the sunlight bathe me in its warmth and envelop myself in my own fragrance. This is what I came for. To be lovelight in form. To change the dense physicality into the golden lovelight of home. May all beings discover their own beauty and bathe in its light.
